Hunter's NASCAR Dream
Southern Ohio chapter

Hunter, age 8, hails from Peebles, Ohio. The Southern Ohio chapter sent Hunter and his family to the inaugural Sprint Cup series and Nationwide Series races at the Kentucky Speedway on July 8 and 9! Hunter met just about every driver (here is is at a driver's meeting with NASCAR great Carl Edwards) and got to "hang out" with reporters from the Speed Network. Dylan, Disney, Dolphins, Diving and Gators

Dylan (age 16, from Uniontown, KY) went to Orlando with his parents in June for some DDD&G (Disney, dolphins, diving and gators)! They jetted yesterday from nearby Owensboro -- bet you didn't know there's a nonstop flight from Owensboro to Orlando! They stayed at Give Kids the World and besides visiting all the usual attractions, they spent a full day at nearby Discovery Cove, swimming with dolphins and scuba diving in the cool new "Grand Reef." They enjoyed a day trip to Cocoa Beach, too!

Abby's Hawaiian Holiday

 Abby age 7, told the Dream Factory that her dream was to visit the Hawaiian islands, and the Paducah chapter delivered! She and her family flew to Honolulu in June, 2011. They stayed on Waikiki Beach, went to a luau, sailed on a glass-bottomed boat, snorkled, hiked in a rainforest and had a terrific time.  Pictured L-R:  Mom, Abby and sisters. 

Dustin's Disney Dream

Dustin's dream was a trip for his family on the new "Disney Dream" ship to the Bahamas. Dustin's mom said that the ship's crew was great and they exchanged many e-mails, hoping to stay in touch. Yum! Brands, Inc., based in Louisville, sponsored Dustin's dream.

Maggie's "Survivor" Dream

Maggie is a longtime fan of the television show "Survivor." Challenges, drama, and tribal councils-- she loves it all.   She has also struggled with complex health for her entire life. That's where The Merrimack Valley Dream Factory stepped in.

The chapter arranged for Maggie, her twin sister, younger brother, parents and nurse to fly to Los Angeles, stay at a luxury hotel and receive audience tickets to the season finale of the CBS hit show, "Survivor: Nicaragua."   Here, she and her brother and sister are pictured with "Survivor" finalist Chase Rice at California Pizza Kitchen.

Since the "Survivor" cast (past and present) was staying at the hotel, they had lots of oportunities for personal chats and autographs. Special seating at the CBS Studios guaranteed up-close viewing of the show. And the special attention offered by the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel and Spa made them feel like celebrities their entire stay.

Saeyoung's Mall of America Dream

Saeyoung has struggled with chronic health issues for years and is keenly aware of the sacrifices her family has made in order to attend to her medical needs.  She wanted to thank her family for everything they have done by flying them to Mall of America in Minnesota and buying each of them a special gift.  She also got lots of goodies for herself!

Bryor's Daytona Dream

Bryor's family promised lots of photos from his NASCAR dream trip to the Daytona 500 February, and they delivered hundreds! But who can blame them? With all the head-turning action, famous faces and beautiful beach shots, they had a lot to capture! On top of everything, Bryor had a private "meet and greet" with NASCAR star Denny Hamlin on February 20.

Joshua's Cowboy Dream

 Joshua dream was to go out West and ride a horse like the real cowboys.  The Louisville chapter sent him and his family to Jackson, Wyoming for a week-long adventure.  They attended a rodeo, got roping lessons from real cowboys, went on an old-time covered wagon excursion, went horseback riding and visited Yellowstone National Park.
